The EPA Showerhead

I read about the EPA’s funding of the wireless hotel shower head meter. This seems to have gotten a lot of negative press and ridicule.
I think the bad press started with the right-wing sickos who don’t want to save the planet.
Please know that I think this project is perfectly worthy of EPA Governmental funding. It’s only $15K.
I have an idea that I hope you pass along to the researchers.
An enhancement to the WiFi shower head would be to add a little a spring loaded valve that would turn down the hot water as time passes. The water temperature would start out a very comfortable 105 degrees for two minutes and then, every 15 seconds or so, would get progressively colder. Perhaps the hot water would be shut off completely after 5 minutes. This would be controlled by the Hotel, not the EPA.
Well, believe me, such a device would reduce shower times and help save the planet. Cold showers would be short showers. Hotels could promote their “Green” showers and get lots of publicity. All the hotels with “Green” cold-showers, would be sold out.
Please pass this idea along.
I am not looking for any compensation for my idea. I just want to make the world a better place, one day at a time.
