Safety Idea

Subject: A Safety Idea
I saw the news today where a Southwest airplane headed to Denver “came in contact” with another plane while taxiing. News reports said the other plane backed up into the Southwest plane and clipped the winglet.
Well, I have an idea that would prevent this from happening. All planes should have side mirrors just like on cars so the pilot can see behind them when backing up. I’ve seen very aerodynamic designs on sports cars and I’m sure something similar could be designed for airplanes.
I am not asking to be compensated for giving you this idea. I just want to make the world a safer place, one day at a time.
